Long Branch — Christ The King Parish-Holy Trinity Church is celebrating Our Lady of Mount Carmel Feast this week.
On July13, a Spanish Mass was celebrated.
On Thur., July 14, 7:30 p.m., Msgnr. Sam Sirianni celebrates the Mass in English, and on the next day, July 15, Fr. Javier Diaz celebrates it in Italian.
On Sat., July 16, a Rosary will be held at 4:15 p.m., followed by a Mass at 5 p.m. at Holy Trinity Church. A procession through the streets and to the Parish Hall will follow.
At 6:45, parishioners and restaurants will bring their Italian Dishes of eggplant parmesan, baked ziti, sausage and peppers, and meatballs. There will also be Spanish, Brazilian and Portuguese specialty food.
“This celebration is a testimony to the warm and vibrant community that is Christ the King Parish,” said Chairwoman Mickie Gagliano.
