Sterns Trailers Athlete of the Week: Morgan Walsh

This week Sterns Trailers is very honored to recognize Morgan Walsh as The Link News Athlete of the Week. Morgan is a freshman on the Ocean Township High School softball team. She is the starting catcher on the team, but last week she made headline at the plate.

During the quarterfinals of the NJSIAA Central Jersey, Group 3 tournament Morgan hit a 2-run homer and then a 3-run homer in the 6-1 win over top seed Wall Township. The Spartans entered the tournament as the eight seed and upset the Scarlet Knights with Morgan responsible for five of the six runs.
