Oceanport – Alexander Munoz fought courageously against a horrible illness that unfortunately took his life on November 6, 2014.
His battle united several towns as banners and yard signs started popping up that read; “Team Alex, No one fights alone.” Alex was a 16-year old student at Shore Regional High School diagnosed with brain and spinal cancer. He had a grade four malignant brain tumor, and last year was told the cancer had spread to his spine.
Alex passed away at 3:05 in the afternoon on Veterans Day. He never wore a uniform, but he battled an opponent none of us ever wish to face. On behalf of The Link News we offer our condolences and deepest sympathy to the Munoz family and to all his friends and supporters.
