Last Thursday students at Monmouth Beach Elementary School participated after school during the second annual ‘Jump Rope for Heart Event’ The students raised more than $3,100 for the American Heart Association which funds research, programs and education to fight heart disease and stroke, our nation’s No. 1 and No. 3 killers respectively.
