A fire broke out in West End, Long Branch, on Monday morning, Feb. 13, destroying property including a hair salon and several apartments. Firefighters from around the area responded and battled the blaze for several hours to keep it from spreading to nearby properties. Brighton Avenue was closed off for hours.
