June 28, 2012 (Little Silver, NJ) – In less than two and a half years in operation, Rook Coffee Roasters has signed a lease to open its fourth retail store this fall. After winning a bid and a little negotiation, terms were met and a lease was signed to take over the Little Silver Train Station Concession in Little Silver.
“While we are excited to be a convenience to the daily train commuters, we intend to be a hub for the local community to enjoy a fresh cup of coffee as well”, said Co-owner Holly Migliaccio. Rook customers will have access to twelve fifteen-minute parking spaces, allowing them to get in and out without any hassle. Those on the go, like commuters, will be able to text in their orders and pay from their Smartphones. “Having experience with coffee drinkers on the go, we can anticipate what to expect. We also have a large following of customers traveling from the Little Silver area to our Long Branch location now, and they have expressed extreme excitement about this expansion for Rook”, said Migliaccio.
“The town of Little Silver has been fantastic to work with, and we couldn’t be happier to be bringing our product and service to the community. Our intentions are to be in Little Silver for many years to come”, says Co-owner Shawn Kingsley.
As in their other locations, this fourth spot will also serve ten single origin specialty coffees, as well as daily fresh baked goods, bagel flats and other delectable goodies. Rook continues to maintain its concept of quality and simplicity, exclusively offering manual pour-over drip coffee. Each and every cup that goes out the door is made fresh to order.
