November 30, 2012Residents of Long Branch have just one more day to put out bulk trash and have it picked up by city employees or contractors hired by the city.
Wednesday, November 28, 2012 is the last day for those living in the city to place bulky waste items that are a result of Hurricane Sandy to be placed at the curb.
In a Code Red announcement issued by city officials on November 26, 2012 at 11:37am, it stated that items placed outside after Wednesday, November 28, 2012, it will be the responsibility of the home owner to dispose of the materials.
Homeowners/residents of Long Branch that have private contractors working on their homes/property starting on November 29, 2012 will be responsible to trash removal.
City officials have stated that the regular bulk pick-up will resume on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 with a maximum of eight (8) items.
