Shore Regional students will once again be involved in helping Sea Bright in another project. Sea Bright will be planting 100,000 culms of dune grass and is looking for the Shore community to help with such a large project.
“Shore students were our most consistent help throughout our sand clean-up. We quite literally could not have done the job without them” said Heather Bedenko, Group Coordinator for S.E.A, Sea Bright Embracing Action.
In addition to the Shore Regional students, all volunteers are welcome for Planting Day on Saturday, March 1, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. with a snow/rain date on Sunday March 2 from 11-2.
Michael Whitacre, Social Studies teacher, is coordinating Shore Regional volunteers, however all community members are welcomed and encouraged to come out and volunteer. The Sea Bright citizens appreciate the help and for further information contact Heather Bedenko at heather.bedenko@hotmail.com
