April 2, 2014On the heels of last month’s successful networking breakfast, the Greater Ocean Township Chamber of Commerce (GOTCC) is holding another networking breakfast with a 10-Minute Topic speaker at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, April 23. The Event is being hosted by Ocean’s Family First Urgent Care and will include a hot and cold breakfast buffet.
Family First Urgent Care, located at 1806 Highway 35 South in Oakhurst, just south of the West Park Avenue intersection, is hosting the event to show off their state-of-the-art facility. They are also opening up a new facility, Family First Primary Physicians a few blocks away in April.
10-Minute Topic is a way for event guests to get valuable information by a distinguished speaker on a topic of business importance. After he speaks, the speaker is available for one-on-one questions, and additional information on the topic, in the form of an article authored by the speaker, will be posted on the Chamber’s Website.
The speaker for this event is John Kalli, CEO of Trinity Worldwide Technologies, who will discuss the “7 Deadly Sins of Web Surfing.”
“Believe me, what John will discuss will be a speedy version on the topic,” stated Kim Horn Blanda, GOTCC Executive Director. “We try to present a well-rounded morning event that allows everyone to meet, mingle, eat, listen, introduce and get off to work on a timely basis; and John has a huge amount of valuable information to share, so we provide access to his article after the fact,” she added.
Kalli has more than 30 years of experience of managing technology companies and has a deep understanding of how technology can help foster, sustain, and manage growth. He founded Trinity to share his knowledge and experience with small businesses in the areas of delivering productivity and profit improvement through prudent applications of technology.
As is always the case at GOTCC events, there will be a Round-Robin introduction, when a microphone is passed allowing everyone present the opportunity to briefly introduce themselves and affording instant recognition by everyone present.
The event is open to everyone, but advance reservations are mandatory. The cost is $5 for members and $10 for non-members. For anyone wishing to join the GOTCC for the first time, admission is free if they join at the door.
