It Happened Again:
Another student killed in a high school. This morning (Friday, April 14, 2014) a 16-year old girl was assaulted and killed at Milford, Connecticut, high school.
According to local news reports in the Milford Connecticut area, Maren Sanchez, 16, was the young girl who was beaten to death this morning at Jonathan Law High School.
It is alleged that she recently broke off a relationship with Chris Plaskon, 16. The two had an argument this morning according to friends over the upcoming prom.
Plaskon, became extremely violent according to students who witnessed the incident which was taking place in a stairwell. Those witnesses told the Daily News of Connecticut that Plaskon shoved Sanchez down the stairs and then started to beat and choke her.
Some reports said that Plaskon had a kitchen knife and was stabbing Sanchez. However, Keith Mello, Chief of Police in Milford, said no weapon was used in the assault.Staff members of the school responded and attempted fife-saving measures while emergency medical services were called. However, the girl was pronounced dead at 7:43 this morning at the hospital.
Both students had good reputations in the school and were known as nice, smart and happy kids.
