June 18, 2014You couldn’t have asked for a better day than Sunday and it seemed that about 10,000 car aficionados felt the same way.
Almost 500 cars were parked along the Promenade in Long Branch as families meandered along admiring every car from the newest Ford Mustang to the oldest Chevy truck. Not to leave out the hot rods and refurbished cruising sedans, woodies and special interest cars.
It was a Father’s Day dream.
There was plenty for everyone to enjoy including music by the Belmonts, (which led to a lot of dancing and singing along) face painting, food, free tickets to Monmouth Race Track, car plaques and trophies, and much more.
All proceeds from the event went to Ronald McDonald House and the Ocean Place also donated proceeds from the day’s parking to RMH.
