Ocean Township — Congregation Torat El will welcome Professor Alan M. Dershowitz, renowned attorney and best-selling author, on Saturday, December 5 at 7:45 pm.
“An Evening with Alan Dershowitz” will feature a presentation and Q&A with the man who has been described as “America’s most public Jewish defender” and “Israel’s single most visible defender — the Jewish state’s lead attorney in the court of public opinion.”
A retired Harvard Professor, Dershowitz has authored 30 books and has published more than 1,000 articles in magazines, newspapers, journals and blogs. He has been an attorney on many high-profile cases involving celebrities such as O.J. Simpson, Claus von Bülow, Mike Tyson, Jim Bakker and Patty Hearst.
Congregation Torat El President Larry Shapiro, also an attorney, says “Professor Dershowitz’s advocacy for Israel is unparalleled. The Jewish community looks forward to hearing his passionate expertise.”
Dershowitz’s books, Terror Tunnels: The Case for Israel’s Just War Against Hamas and Taking the Stand: My Life in the Law, are available for purchase at the time of ticket purchase.
