November 18, 2015Long Branch — Natural Healthcare Center (NHC) has announced its 4th Annual Turkey Drive, to be held Friday, November 20, at both Long Branch and Middletown locations.
Frozen turkeys can be dropped off at either location between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. The turkeys will be delivered that night to Calvary Chapel’s Broken Loaves: Food and Raiment Ministry in Old Bridge.
Plans for the day also include tastings at the Long Branch location from FitFood and Drink Juice Bar between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. Designs for Health will be on hand with information about its extensive line of nutritional products.
“With this year’s shortage of turkeys due to the bird flu, our drive is more important than ever,” said . “Food pantries are predicting shortages, and we don’t want to see that happen.”
Since 2003, Natural Healthcare Center has offered integrative health and wellness services, including chiropractic, acupuncture, massage therapy, physical therapy, fitness programs, and clinical nutrition. As part of its Community Relations Program, it provides support and free services to local organizations, shelters, and nonprofits while also collecting food for local food banks throughout the year.
Locations for drop-offs are Natural Healthcare Center at 10 West End Court, Long Branch, and 9 Leonardville Road in Middletown.
