Long Branch — Natural Healthcare Center (NHC) has announced its 4th Annual Turkey Drive, to be held Friday, November 20, at both Long Branch and Middletown locations.
Frozen turkeys can be dropped off at either location between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. The turkeys will be delivered that night to Calvary Chapel’s Broken Loaves: Food and Raiment Ministry in Old Bridge.
Plans for the day also include tastings at the Long Branch location from FitFood and Drink Juice Bar between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. Designs for Health will be on hand with information about its extensive line of nutritional products.
“With this year’s shortage of turkeys due to the bird flu, our drive is more important than ever,” said . “Food pantries are predicting shortages, and we don’t want to see that happen.”
