The MB Cultural Center held its annual Christmas party last week and everyone was in a festive mood as they listened to Lyn Graham sing holiday tunes on his electric piano, drank
wine and sodas and munched on cold sandwiches and appetizers before heading over to the extensive dessert table. How do these seniors manage to stay so fit with all the calorie rich goodies at all these parties?
As usual, the tree was set up in the corner with just the lights strung, and each guest was encouraged to select an ornament from the many choices on the table beside it to trim the tree. Of course the tree was not finished until Billy Delehanty, being the tallest MB resident – all six foot seven of him — arrived to place the topper on the tree!
The Cultural Center will be closed for painting and cleaning until January 14, 2016.
