Ocean Township — On Wednesday, June 1, LADACIN Network’s Schroth School students arrived at Ocean Township High School for the first Schroth Sports Day event to be held at the high school.
Schroth School students were greeted by welcome signs the OTHS students had made and kicked off the day with a parade around the athletic field and track. The morning began with sports activities such as parachute games, basketball, soccer, kite flying, t-ball, and bicycle and relay races. In the afternoon, the OTHS students assisted with bubbles and tattoos. To close out the day, Chris Siciliano, Mayor of Ocean Township, joined the high school students in presenting sports medals to their very special visitors during a moving musical closing ceremony.
