OCEAN TOWNSHIP, NJ – State Senator Vin Gopal will host a prayer and information gathering for residents to learn how they can “Stand With Ukraine” this Friday, March 18, 2022, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., in Red Bank.
“The news we see coming out of Ukraine gets more heartbreaking by the hour and my Legislative District 11 office is receiving many requests from people who want to know how they can help,” Gopal, D-Monmouth, said. “At the same time, it’s inspiring to see the bravery of Ukrainian citizens in their fight for freedom and for their democracy.”
Gopal noted that the unprovoked war in Ukraine is an attack on democracy everywhere and that Ukrainian citizens are fighting for all democratic nations as well as their homeland.
“The bombings are decimating hospitals and apartment buildings, and the Ukrainian people need medical supplies and every kind of basic necessity. Please come to Riverside Gardens Park Friday and “Stand With Ukraine” to show your support. We will have information available about what you can do to help,” the Senator said.
To R.S.V.P. or ask questions, please email the Senator at info@vingopal.com. Riverside Gardens Park is located by the Navesink River on West Front Street in Red Bank
