May 17, 2022EATONTOWN– Senior Citizens Activities Network (https://scannj.org) is excited to announce its First annual charity Golf & Tennis Classic. The event will be held on July 18th, 2022 at the luxurious Eagle Oaks Golf & Country Club, located at 20 Shore Oaks Drive, Farmingdale, NJ.
Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. followed by a barbecue lunch at 11:30 AM and tee off is at 12:30 p.m. The evening reception including open bar begins at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner and a silent auction.
Proceeds from the event will benefit Senior Citizens Activities Network, a 501©3 organization dedicated to keeping people 55 and older in New Jersey healthy, active and connected since 1988.
The first annual Golf & Tennis classic will truly have something for everyone at one of New Jersey’s most prestigious Golf Courses. Each golfer will receive a beautiful gift bag upon arriving, along with a barbecue lunch, and a gourmet buffet-style dinner, open bar, food trucks, a Tito’s Vodka Tent and more.
There will also be many contests and prizes at the event including a $25,000 hole-in-one contest, a putting contest, closest-to-the-pin and longest drive contest, a hole-in-two contest with the winner receiving a $5,000 all-expenses-paid golf trip to Pebble Beach Resort and Country Club; other prizes including a Vertical Charcoal Smoker, a Garmin GPS watch and a UHD Smart TV. The golf event will conclude with the Million Dollar Shoot-Out Challenge, where players will compete to hole a shot from 165 yards to win $1 million dollars.
