Motor City Review Rocks the Crowd at Long Branch Bands by the Beach

Enjoying the music of Motor City Review at the Thursday Night Concerts in Pier Village, Long Branch, are Jan Egan, Karen & John Macaluso, Donna Halligan and Bennett Macaluso from Long Branch.

You couldn’t help but sing alongor get up and dance to Motor City Review covering Motown hits on Thursday night during Bands by the Beach in Pier Village, Long Branch. The band, boasting 12 members kept the place rocking until 8:30.

The Greater Long Branch Chamber of Commerce raised $900, with $450 going into a Long Branch High School Scholarship fund, and a lucky person who purchased a 50/50 ticket sold that night took home $450. There’s a lucky winner every night!

There is plenty of room for your beach chair. And parking? Well, try to carpool or ride your bicycle.

The next concert will on July 11, featuring music by the Smokin’ Jackets, and on July 18 Bob Burger & Friends will perform. Concerts begin at 7pm.

The lucky winner of the 50/50 took home $450! Members of the band called out the winning number and Ally Martin, Director of the Long Branch Chamber of Commerce (left) handed out the money to a very happy winner.
