November 8, 2011In West Long Branch, Republicans Christopher Neyhart is seeking a third term in office. He’s joined on the ballot by fellow Republican Fred Migliaccio, seeking his first term on council.
Another candidate, Richard Brand, is not on the ballot, but is asking residents to vote for him as a write-in candidate.
Neyhart is a retired police officer and is a broker manager. On Council, he chairs the police committee and is a member of the public works and public property committee.
Migliaccio is currently the borough’s Office of Emergency Management Coordinator and the Fire Sub Code Official. He is employed as the head of the Long Branch Department of Public Works.
Brand, who just retired as a lieutenant of the West Long Branch Police Department, is a lifelong borough resident. He says he is running because he wants to continue serving and protecting the interests of the borough residents.
Neyhart and Migliaccio are both Republicans. Currently, the entire six-member council, and the mayor, are all Republican.
