Long Branch Police have arrested and charged Dante J. Strong, 18, with robbery. According to law enforcement sources, Strong was taken into custody on October 4.
His bail has been set at $600,000 with no 10% option. He is currently at the Monmouth County Correctional Facility in Freehold.
Police say that a robbery was reported to have occurred on September 20, and Strong is accused of taking $300. It was reported that Strong told the victim; “Give me your money or I’m gonna blast you.” He said that as he held a gun to the victim’s head.
Police have not released any further details on the incident at this time. We expect an update on Tuesday, October 8, 2013.
