A silver Toyota SUV was traveling north on Second Ave. on Friday afternoon and was hit by a car that went through the stop sign on Cottage Place. The SUV flipped over twice finally landing on the north side of the road, coming to rest on a parked car.
One observer said that he was walking out his front door and saw the SUV rolling over right in front of him. He said that it’s a hard corner to see and a lot of accidents happen there. One woman who lives on the corner said the same thing and talked about a car that ended up through the fence and in her front yard. Many observers agreed that it’s a dangerous corner.
Neither of the drivers were injured. Wearing their seat belts was cited as possibly saving their lives.
