On Saturday, February 15, Indulge Lounge and Food Bar, located on the North side of Pier Village, will host the 2014 Pier Village Winter Gift Card Giveaway in conjunction with the Monmouth County SPCA Linen Drive.
Each customer that brings in a linen donation between the hours of 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. will receive a $25 gift card that can be used anywhere in Pier Village. The Monmouth County SPCA will be on site with some adorable adoptable guests for a fun meet and greet.
Pier Village strives to build business while giving back to the local community through events like these. Perri Blind, Volunteer Coordinator at the Monmouth County SPCA location states the importance of collections like these, “We always strive to keep the animals as comfortable as possible during their stay with us. Donating blankets, towels and other linens is such an easy way for people to make a difference. Most people have this stuff laying around their house and we can definitely put it all to good use here.”
“Pier Village is a pet-friendly atmosphere,” states Megan Oliveira, Director of Marketing at Pier Village. “We enjoy seeing customers shop in our pet-friendly stores and outdoor seating areas. We enjoy working with local charities like the SPCA because it is something our customers care about and it is essential for building good community relationships.”
