January 5, 2015Howell man sentenced to 4 years in prison for fatal crash
January 9, 2015(FREEHOLD) A Neptune Township man was found dead inside a Washington Village apartment Monday evening. Asbury Park police responded to 1259 Washington Avenue, Building 1, Apartment 53, following a 911 call around 9:58 p.m. on Monday January 5, 2015, reporting a person had been stabbed on Ridge Avenue before arriving at the apartment, announced Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni.
The victim is identified as Prize R. Johnson, 19, of Neptune Township. Asbury Park Police arrived at the Washington Village Apartment where they found Johnson, but despite lifesaving efforts he died from his injuries and was pronounced dead at 10:29 p.m.
A joint investigation by the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office and the Asbury Park Police Department was immediately launched and is active and ongoing at this time.
