John’s Auto & Truck Repair on Joline Ave. in Long Branch caught fire on Thursday afternoon all but destroying the business, owned and operated by John Hueston.
Heavy smoke was visible streaming out of the front of the building on Thursday afternoon.
No one was seriously injured, but an employee did burn a hand in the blaze, according to Long Branch Police.
Long Branch Police and firefighters converged on the building and closed Joline between Washington and Edwards Ave. as flames and smoke overtook the business.
On Thursday the building appeared unharmed except for front garage doors which where scorched by the fire. The inside of the garage are all destroyed. On Friday the front was all boarded up.
