Accusations, tempers fly at Oceanport meeting
August 7, 2015Long Branch — The Long Branch Library’s adult summer reading program is in full swing.Join them for book discussions, programs, prizes and more.
They invite you to engage in the theme “Escape the Ordinary” with popular new fiction, a great new biography or a juicy beach read. Summer might also be the perfect time to finally read some literary classics. Visit the library’s “New” book shelves to find the perfect summer read.
Now you can be rewarded for your reading with a chance to win a prize. Adult readers are invited to read six books this summer, complete a reading log and submit it to be entered into a prize drawing for a gift basket and local restaurant gift card. Audiobooks count too.
Participants may enter as often as they wish by completing and submitting the reading logs, which are available at the Library’s Circulation Desk.
One winner will be chosen from the Main Library and one from the Elberon Branch Library. The summer reading program ends on Saturday, August 2nd.
Summer Reading programs and activities, including additional reading contests and special events for children and teens, are ongoing through August. Please stop by the library for a full schedule of special summer events, or visit our website at www.longbranchlib.org.
