April 12, 2022Long Branch – Monmouth Medical Center (MMC) recently held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to dedicate the Anne Vogel Family Care and Wellness Center, located at 200 Wycoff Road, Eatontown, in the Monmouth Mall near Boscov’s.
“Our new Eatontown location is providing the region with convenient access to comprehensive women’s services, pediatric services, specialty surgical services and a laboratory drawing station,” says Eric Carney, President and CEO of MMC and Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus in Lakewood.
The four-story building features comprehensive children’s services, including pediatric subspecialty practices in cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, pulmonology and infectious diseases, and women’s services including maternal/fetal medicine physician offices. The building also serves as the new home for MMC’s pioneering Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders Center and offers Urgent Care services and Lab Blood Drawing Station.
The 82,000-square-foot medical and wellness facility will soon include wellness education and resources through the LiveWell Center and WEforum Demonstration Kitchen featuring Dorothea and Jon Bon Jovi Nutrition Education Programs, a Breastfeeding Wellness Center, and medical and therapy services provided by Children’s Specialized Hospital, a fellow RWJBarnabas Health facility.
In January, the hospital announced that philanthropist Sheldon Vogel had donated a $10 million naming gift in memory of his beloved wife and cherished hospital benefactor and friend, Anne Vogel. This generous gift came on the heels of the Vogels’ record-breaking $50 million donation given to the hospital in 2020 to establish the Vogel Medical Campus in Tinton Falls, which is under development three miles away from the new Center at the Monmouth Mall. The Vogel Medical Campus in Tinton Falls and the Anne Vogel Family Care and Wellness Center in Eatontown support Monmouth Medical Center’s vision to thoughtfully expand access to its outstanding programs and services.
The new Eatontown center also has an additional tie to Anne Vogel, who was honored posthumously by the hospital foundation in October 2021with the Judith W. Dawkins Ambassador of Excellence Award, the seal of which is enshrined in the building’s structure.
