January 28, early in the morning a fire broke out in a residential home located at 11 Howland Avenue. Long Branch Police Detective Captain Jason Roebuck stated that one person has died in the fire.
Police have not released the name of the deceased individual as the next of kin has not been notified. It appears that the home is a multi-family unit.
Roebuck stated that the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office will be the leading the investigation into the fire.
