Two arrested for drugs and brass knuckles in Ocean

A report that a shooting occurred in Long Branch this afternoon in the area of Broadway and Liberty Street, with two victims shot. Initial report had one victim with a possible gunshot wound to the back of the head.
The Link News has reached out to Jason Roebuck, Public Safety Director, for the City of Long Branch. He stated that a shooting had occurred. “But victims left the scene and are completely uncooperative about when where who etc.,” said Roebuck.

The Long Branch Police Department and the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office work cooperatively on all shooting incidents and are handling this matter as an active investigation.
